Who operates LIW
Labor Intelligence Works LLC operates Labor Intelligence Works (LIW).
Contact support@laborintelligenceworks.com for support and billing, or privacy@laborintelligenceworks.com for privacy and data requests. These addresses forward to the operator’s designated inbox. Do not include passwords, provider keys or unnecessary case contents in a request.
Scope
This policy describes information handled when you use Labor Intelligence Works. Case records may concern people who do not have LIW accounts. If your employer, union or another organization supplies their information, that organization may have separate duties to explain its use of the records. Labor Intelligence Works LLC receives LIW privacy requests at privacy@laborintelligenceworks.com.
Information you provide
Account information includes identifiers used for sign-in and access. Purchase and membership information includes transaction identifiers, plan or bundle selection, payment status and access periods. Case information may include uploaded documents, email bodies and headers, attachments, names, contact details, employment allegations, dates, contract and policy provisions, prompts, analyst notes and generated outputs. Depending on your uploads, records can include sensitive employment, health, financial or other personal information.
Technical and operational information
Authentication, hosting and processing services can handle session information, IP addresses, request and security logs, job identifiers, processing status, token usage and diagnostic events. Browser storage can support sign-in and continuity of interface choices. Browser storage supports requested service features; a visit does not constitute consent to uses that require separate consent.
Purposes
Information supports authentication, account and case permissions, purchase fulfillment, course delivery, requested record processing, analysis, review, exports, support, security, troubleshooting and billing reconciliation. Sensitive case information should be limited to what the requested workflow needs. A processing audit record helps trace a job or cost; it is not permission to publish the underlying case information.
Browser storage
LIW uses browser local storage and session storage for sign-in state, cart selections, workspace or review navigation, and recent job-control responses. Clearing browser storage can sign you out or reset preferences. Hosting, identity and payment providers can also keep their own operational and security records.
Service providers and recipients
LIW’s service uses Vercel for the website, Render for API and worker hosting, Supabase for authentication, application data and private storage, and Stripe for payments. AI workflows can use Anthropic or OpenAI. Providers receive information needed for their configured service. Payment entry is handled through the configured payment workflow; LIW can retain billing identifiers and status. Case participants receive only material their applicable permissions allow. Information may also be disclosed where law requires it or where necessary to address unlawful activity or security threats.
AI processing
A requested AI feature may transmit selected case text, prompts, context and metadata to its configured external model provider. Some workflows reduce identifiers through masking, but masking is not guaranteed anonymity. File names, case names, employer details or identifying facts can remain. Provider retention, permitted use and handling depend on the applicable account configuration and agreements; this policy does not promise universal zero retention or that all records remain inside LIW’s infrastructure.
Advertising and case records
LIW does not sell case records or use their contents for targeted advertising. Disclosures to the service providers and authorized recipients described here support the requested service. Any materially different use requires an updated notice and any applicable permission.
Sharing choices
Check case-team membership and work-product visibility before sharing. Subscription licenses do not confer access to all cases. Downloaded files and copies you send to others leave LIW’s access controls. Do not put sensitive case contents into a support request unless necessary; a request can usually begin with a case or job reference and a description of the problem.
Retention and deletion
Retention depends on the record category, service purpose, customer instructions, access term, security needs and applicable legal obligations. Originals, extracted content, generated outputs, transaction records and audit records can have different requirements. Deleting an active record does not establish that every backup, previously downloaded copy or provider-held copy has been immediately removed. Legal holds and necessary billing or security records can limit deletion. The Data Policy and any applicable customer agreement describe the available deletion process and record-lifecycle controls.
Requests and rights
Depending on applicable law and your relationship to the records, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain personal information, including rights concerning sale, sharing and sensitive information where applicable. LIW will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Submit a request through the published privacy contact. LIW may verify identity and authority before disclosing or changing sensitive information. If LIW processes the information for a customer organization, it may need to direct or coordinate the request with that organization. Verification must not reveal another person’s confidential records.
Security and location
LIW uses account and case access controls and private storage workflows. No system is perfectly secure. Processing can occur in locations used by LIW and its service providers; do not assume a particular residency or compliance certification unless your agreement expressly provides it. Report suspected unauthorized access through the published security or support contact.
Children and changes
LIW is designed for adult professional use, not children. Records about minors should be supplied only when authorized and necessary for the professional matter. Policy changes will carry a version and effective date; additional notice or consent will be provided where required. Contact details and request methods must remain available with the published policy.
